PNW Meetup!

Pacific Northwest Bloggers! As many of you know shawnsandcade are about to have a baby and then move further from the US border. They are extremely ambitious and are hoping to come to the US before they move in April.

Together, we are hoping to put together a meetup of area bloggers – I know a couple of you but might not know some folks are in the area – if interested let me know. If you know other bloggers who don’t follow me pass this along or share on your page!

We are thinking this:

Portland Zoo – Saturday, March 14th. Because shawnsandcade are coming from Canada they will most likely spend a night in Portland so we would look at getting a vacation rental with bedrooms for every family interested and share the cost on Friday. We’d get up there Friday, hang out, order take out, and go to the zoo Saturday.

What do you think? Want to play?

  1. This sounds incredible, I’ve always wanted to visit Oregon too. Let me talk with Devan πŸ™‚

  2. Reblogged this on Shawns and Cade.

  3. La has applied for two different faculty jobs in Bellingham, Wa – maybe we’ll be able to join you all for a similar meet up sometime in the future!

  4. How fun! Same side of the country as us but unfortunately to close to Corrie’s due date. Wish it was something we could have joined.

  5. This is awesome! Does one qualify as a blogger if they have a blog but haven’t updated in years… or if one doesn’t blog per se, but writes tiny novels in the comment section of other people’s blogs?

Would it be weird if we flew in from MN? (Also, would it suck to be crammed into a tiny space for 3 1/2 hrs with two toddlers? Hmm.) I might be able to convince DW that it’d be a great opportunity to check out Oregon before we move.

  6. Ah, how fun! I wish we still lived in the PNW. πŸ™‚ Hopefully ya’ll’ll blog all about it.

  7. I think im ridiculously jealous that i’m in the NE! Sounds like a great time!

  8. Oh my. Yes. What a great idea!
